The Flight Operations team includes aircraft pilots and pilot support.

Job overview and responsibilities

To develop and implement training scheduling plans to support the overall staffing plan in the most cost effective manner optimizing both instructor pilot and simulator resources.

  • Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing the training scheduling plan for pilots, utilizing simulators, and pilot instructors in the most cost effective manner

  • Continue to monitor the training plan when implemented

  • React to deviations to the plan and developing cost effective alternatives

  • Coordinate the scheduling of recurrent training requirements for pilots

  • Schedule initial operating experience, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently with limit impact to the line operations

  • Interact with Manpower Planning, Fleet Managers Manpower Planning and Crew Scheduling, seeking input to the plan and ensuring the plan is communicated to all responsible parties

  • Responsible for ensuring effective communication is maintained with all stakeholders


  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience

  • Strong computer skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • 2 years of Operations experience required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours in a 7 day a week operation including nights, weekends and holidays


  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree

  • Strong Microsoft Office/Excel experience

  • Customer Service skills

  • Knowledge of contractual work rules and FARs

  • Airline industry experience

  • Scheduling experience
